Does Aita work fully offline?

Yes. Aita is designed as a local‑first system: all your data, notes, projects, tasks, and AI models run entirely on your device. Only the integrated browser requires an internet connection.

Does the AI Agent use the internet or external APIs?

No. The AI Agent runs 100% locally using one of the Aita Nucleus models (Mini, Standard, Premium). No cloud calls, no external API usage, no data sent outside your machine.

What are the minimum system requirements?

Aita runs on Windows PCs with standard specifications. For the AI Agent:
Mini → works on almost any modern PC
Standard → recommended for balanced performance
Premium → requires a dedicated GPU (≥ 6GB VRAM)

Is Aita free?

Aita offers two modes:
Free Plan (Limited Features)
Free for 6 months
Reduced functionality
Ideal for testing the core workspace features
Premium Plan (Full Features)
Currently free for all beta testers until the end of the beta period
Will become a paid monthly subscription after the beta
Includes full access to Aita Nucleus, AI Agent, and all advanced tools

Can I use Aita for professional work?

No. Aita does not use cloud servers and does not sync your data online. A future P2P sync option is planned, still without central servers.

The AI Agent is in experimental beta. It can:
